Problem with Writer tables when converting to .pdf

Hi folks,

When I try to convert the Writer document containing Calc tables into .pdf format I get the following errors:

-The numbers on the first table are blurred

-The top line of the grid is missing in the bottom table

I have attached the .odt. I have attached a screenshot of the .pdf since I cannot upload the original .pdf file.

I am using Version: 5.2.0.4 Win7 32bit

From the comments below, this behaviour seems to be a bug in LibreOffice. I have a Writer report that contains a ton of tables imported from Calc and I cannot figure out what to do as many of them are blurry and/or have incomplete grid outlines. Does anyone know a solution for this other than convert each single table to native Writer format?

Works fine for me. Settings: JPEG compression (90%), no other special things set. No problems when exporting to PDF/A either.

Edit I have the same version, on Windows 10. But now I see what you mean. In the second table, the cells that you want to be displayed were scrolled down. As a result, I only saw the bottom half in Writer, and that exported nicely to the same view in PDF. Exporting to PDF doesn’t give a document that shows more than your original document, and you have to be especially careful with scrollable views - the resulting PDF won’t have scrollable views. So make sure that the view displays the part that you want to be visible.

-why is then the frame of the third table (the one at the bottom) incomplete?

-Why does the font of the 2nd table look sharper than the other fonts of the other tables?

I don’t know. It may have to do with the zoom factor. you can file a bug report about it here.
