The question is, since the sheet names had been visible, how do they get turned off? This has happened twice.
Libre Office frequently freezes, most often when using the Sheet edit to add a row, for example, and sometimes freezes the entire computer.
I understand. What I’m wondering, given that it takes 5 steps, how they managed to disappear in the first place. It certainly wasn’t because I took steps to get rid of them.
The next time that happens, I try using those steps.
I tried the Ask site first.
OK. I thought you might like assistance to prevent the crashes but without information about your set up I can only point you to this page for you to work through First steps to take before submitting a bug - The Document Foundation Wiki
Now the dark mode, I mean the mode for nights, is malfunctioning in Libre Office, and I can’t read some of the menus because the letters aren’t switching to white. This is new.
The drop menu under Tools is working, but I don’t see Options.
Time to dump Libre Office, obviousy
A guess then
Don’t bother any more. I’ve downloaded another suite.
Actually, I don’t see it there either, and I don’t understand why it spontaneously changes itself, but I’ve downloaded Mobi, and I can transfer all my text documents by cutting and pasting.
Thank you for your efforts,
Regards,
Beth Root
The setting to show the sheet tabs or not is stored in the document. Any document where the tabs are hidden should be displayed this way with any spreadsheet software.
Unhide the sheet tabs, save the document and everything should be fine.
