white stripes on screen

One line in my presentation (impress) has a white stripe in the text (on screen) others reported it when scrolling in writer, others reported it for images, or videos, it is happening on Windows and Ubuntu and in my case on Fedora.

It seems to be a graphics-acceleration-bug, how can I disable it?

It is due to graphic-acceleration:

To dissable gaphics accerlation:

  • Tools > Options > View > Graphics Output > uncheck “Use hardware acceleration”

restart the application.
