Why line breaks in the middle of a word?

See the attached screenshot. Why am I getting the strange line breaks in the middle of words?

It’s a legal file created by my wife (who is an attorney) with lots of personal information in it. I hope I deleted the identifying stuff.

I’ve amended the original question to include the file.

You have language of paragraph set to Thai… and setting it to English fixes the problem.

Thank you. I’ll let my wife know.

The shared file contains text formatted as Thai while actually it is English. Changing the text language to English cures the problem.
