[writer - table inside table] inner table changes overides outer table

HI,

I create a frame with an inner border with text padding on it shown by [this post] ([WRITER] Create an area with an inner border and text padding).

the idea is a table within a table inside a frame which is very nice…

1. frame = define a background
2. 1th table = define border
3. 2nd table = define padding

I find odds when :
2. Every changes in 2nd table will change 1st table setting. is it expected behaviour ? while they are 2 different tables.
for example, if i change 2nd table padding, it will change 1th table padding.
someone can help me ?

With objects inside objects, it is sometime difficult to select the correct one with the mouse (objects being too close to each other or some other reason related to content). You can use the Navigator (F5) Tables sub-section to select very precisely the table you want to customise. To ease your work, you can also change the default name to a better descriptive one with a right-click.
