Corrupted file, usual methods not working

Hello, I need some help to get back the text part of an .odt file.
I already tried some methods on copies, like :

  • convert to zip file => I did not find content.xml, everything else seems right
(one of the images is corrupted)
  • repair the zip file (with 7z, WinRar, DiskInternals and zip -F/-FF)
  • convert to doc/docx
None of those methods work, the initial error was “General input/output error”.

The modifications were done on USB key, and the file was on it.
I tried to scan the USB key and the computer that was used to modify the file (wondershare, recuva).
I found files with the same name, but they either have the same problem or worse.

Is there some way I could get the content.xml back, one way or another ? Or at least part of the missing text.

Here are the files (original+recovered) : SwissTransfer - Envoi sécurisé et gratuit de gros fichiers
Le link stays 30 days, I will probably have given up by then.
Thanks in advance for your help.

The most common mistake when using USB sticks is that the stick is removed too early. What is then not saved can no longer be there or restored. Always save your originals to the hard disk on your PC and save from there to a stick if necessary.
And always make a backup of your data.
