Image from PowerPoint file vertically flipped

I run LibreOffice latest version under Fedora Core 42.

I received a PowerPoint file with an image inside.
When opening the file with Impress, the image shows vertically flipped.
I tried to vertically flip it in Impress (Format > Flip > vertically) to correct this, but this does not work. It does nothing.

Out of curiosity, I installed OnlyOffice and opened the PowerPoint file in there is shows correctly.

Anybody faces something similar and can tell me how to fix?

The screenshot underneath shows on the left OnlyOffice image and on the right side Impress. Exactly same file

Thanks, Wolfgang

Which?

Please attach the file itself. You can remove all but the image, if it still has the error after removing.

LibreOffice version is
Version: 25.2.4.3 (X86_64)
Build ID: 520(Build:3)
CPU threads: 22; OS: Linux 6.14; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: de-DE (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Attached the file.

Thanks for helping.

Unfortunately, this seems to create a problem. The file attached by @wp.rauchholz now has the same look in PowerPoint - so likely, LibreOffice has “sealed” the error when saving it.

I think, the only way here is to provide the original.

Hmmm when I open the file on my laptop, it shows incorreectly.
How can this be?

I am happy to share the original file, but would prefer to do so privately.
How can I do that?

Use private messages to users who you want to share to (click on their nicknames / avatars for that).

There is something wrong. I get this message

Sorry, you cannot send a personal message to that user.

Is there another way?

Wolfgang

You may use an email. E.g., mine is mikekaganski@hotmail.com

Thank you Mike.
You shold have received it.

The problematic sample.
Note that it’s flipped horizontally, not vertically.
