I have been using Libre for several years. Suddenly it stopped working on my computer. I am using the current version of Libre, V 25.8. I’m using Windows 11 with all current updates.
When I click on my Libre desktop Icon, or the Icon in my start menu, or a Libre file, or the Libre .exe file in the in the Libre folder nothing happens. No message, empty window, no error code, nothing. I don’t think I have made any changes or additions to my system that should effect Libre. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Libre with the same result.
I got Libre to open by right clicking on the desktop icon and choosing “run as administrator”. I went into safe mode and tried the various fixes shown there, and I still have the same problem. I am signed onto my account as “Administrator”. I can restart in normal mode, but after I close Libre it will not let me restart in normal mode, only by using “Start as Administrator”.
I am able to look at the event viewer but have no idea what I am looking for. Is there a specific area or event I should look at.

I updated and ran the CCleaner program I use and now Libre seems to be working like it should. I have no idea what changed.
