Steps to Reproduce
- Create a new template
- Create a document from that template
- Close the document
- Modify the template, save, and close the edited template
- Open the document
- Accept the prompt to update that document’s styles with the changes to the template
- Save the document
- Close the document (I use ⌘ W, the standard Mac shortcut for closing a window, but closing it from the File menu yields the same result)
- Writer crashes, and any other documents that were open need to be recovered. If there were no other open documents, you get prompted with an empty list of documents that need to be recovered.
Notes
I’ve tried the above with a master template and a master document and got the same results.
Edit: I attached a template and a text document I made from that template (not sure if the connection will persist after downloading).
