printed text is fine in other programs
please attach sample of your document here and say us what’s LO version do you use and what’s OS?
I also have this problem, on Fedora (currently 35 but also on earlier versions) and with LO 7.2.5.2 (and earlier versions) when printing to an HP CP1515n. I’ve attached a plain text document that has this problem; it occurs on all text printed from LO - Writer and Calc. Export to PDF and then print doesn’t have this issue.

There is something odd in your document, if I select the Lorem text and set to Latin or to None the red spell check underlining doesn’t go away, this might be another symptom of corruption.
I would try resetting your user profile by manually renaming so you can reverse it if necessary, LibreOffice user profile - The Document Foundation Wiki
After reset, test with a new document and add text by typing lorem and then pressing F3, select all and change language to Latin and see if spell check underlining goes away. If it does, then try printing to see if shadow has gone.
Before I mess around with the user profile, try this one, which is plain English and has the same issue. Also, my wife has the same problem on her laptop, running F33, IIRC, and whatever the latest LO build was on that.

Also, I’ve just tried setting the language to Latin for the “Lorem” doc and the red underlining goes away, so it recognises the text fine.
I think it was an issue with my laptop as I can change text to Latin and underlining goes away this morning. Possibly, uncompleted Windows update so that was a red herring, sorry.
Do you have an option for your printer driver to use a different printer language? Obviously, PDF works OK
It looks like a printer issue. Here are a couple of links from HP Forum that might help:
