I have some raw survey data I want to pivot that looks similar to this:
And I want to pivot the questions into columns:
But when I do so, I don’t get the answers in the pivot table cells, even though there is only one answer per combination of name and question.
Is there any way for me to get the answers to appear in the pivot table cells?
Move the ‘Question’ to a column field on the PT, by dragging or editing the PT properties.

Using a PT as intermediate table to get the names in column and the question in rows.
I did that, but all the data cells (Sum - Answer) come up blank.
Sorry my bad, it needs more work to get it.

With PivotTable I have no solution, but by formulas and validation yes.

Oh, that’s pretty neat! Is there any way to make the names and question headers dynamic (i.e. look them up from the original data set) rather than having to enter them in manually? My actual data set has quite a bit more than three people and three questions!
