Hello thanks for ur reply,
I will add the file, but i can’t modify the previous one.
5057.odt (22.9 KB)

I hope you will be able to help me.

Some of the text boxes inside the frames have been deleted. You could copy them back from inside a good frame.

When I opened the file, it looked for Normal.dotm so I guess it is a template designed for Word. Better to build a new file using one of the templates included with Writer. What label size is it?

  1. Click File > New > Labels
  2. In the new dialogue,
    1. In the Labels tab under Brand select the brand, e.g. Avery A4 and size
Will you connect it to a database? Enter the fields, etc.
    2. In the Options tab, select Entire Page and decide whether you want to Synchronise contents, that is , alter the first label to suit then click the floating button to make them all the same

Correct, i use the 5057 model who was on docx.
the size is 2,96 x 6,05 cm.
There is no databases for label, because the product change everytime, so it will be change on each.
I will try to do what you say.

Thanks, i did the model, i need to try it, but it works, i can open it and lost nothing ! Thanks for ur help !

I don’t know what brand 5057 refers to nor why the product would change.

I made a user defined label sheet using your settings as far as I could determine. I added the 2 mm internal padding to the frames. I then pasted your text boxes in to the labels.

hi, sorry for the late answer, thanks you for all your help and ur file ! That helped me a lot ! U are my hero ! ^^

Coming late into the debate. I had a look at your original 5057 document. IMHO, this is not a text document. You don’t even use mail merge to generate the labels. I think you’ll have more versatility and ease of design in Draw. Create the first label then use the duplicate function which will copy the desired number of items with x- and y-offsets, thus filling the sheet in a single shot.

Note also that using Drawing objects like text boxes is generally a bad idea in Writer because 1) they don’t interact well with text, 2) they have far less formatting possibilities (they’re supposed to be simple “decorations”). But these drawing objects are probably the consequence of conversion from .docx to .odt.
