Range selection with a dialog box in a python Macro

Hello, I try to build some additional statistics capabilities (Menu: data->statistics). if the statistics part works in my python macro, i don't know : 1) how to create the same type of dialog box as in "data->statistics" to select the cells range (already read the Villeroy's RangeSelectionFromDialog.ods (Star)basic sample) 2) How to transfer back in libreoffice's worksheet some mathematical results or graphical output

here attached the file I work on.C:\fakepath\1st Python Macro.ods Select the whole table (A1:B31) and launch the macro "macro_WP"

Thank you for your help Thierry

Range selection with a dialog box in a python Macro

Hello, I try to build some additional statistics capabilities (Menu: data->statistics). if the statistics part works in my python macro, i don't know : :

1) how to create the same type of dialog box as in "data->statistics" to select the cells range (already read the Villeroy's RangeSelectionFromDialog.ods (Star)basic sample cf. the range. I found in forum a solution but only in "Starbasic" (the link https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=77769#p365582) https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=77769#p365582)

2) How to transfer back in libreoffice's worksheet some mathematical results or graphical output output. It's ok for Mathematical Results.

here The context: Here attached the file I work on.C:\fakepath\1st Python Macro.ods In this macro python, the actual selection is clustered (Hierarchical ascendant classification). I obtain a specific representation(dendrogram after plt.show) I would like to insert it in libreoffice's worksheet just like a picture.

Select the whole table (A1:D31) and launch the macro "macro_WP"
